This year’s edition of Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador Awards 2018 tagged “Celebrating Selfless Service” saw fresh sets of young awardees.
Embler founder, Ifeoma Onuike was among new elites honoured with the prestigious award for her role in advocating for girl child rights to education through her NGO EMBLER.
The event which took place on 21st, September, 2018 at Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre, Abuja was anchored by actress Tonto Dikeh and Ben 200.
Enhancement for Best Legacies and Essential Reformation (EMBLER) is a humanitarian NGO founded in Cyprus that advocates for the rights of people.
Ifeoma Onuike had just returned to Nigeria after making the country proud by breaking the record of Grine America University Cyprus after graduating as the overall best student twice on a roll, first, during her degree and subsequently during her master program in the institution.
Toktok9a gathered that this year’s Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador Awards was proudly sponsored by HRM King Ateke Michael Tom JP, the Sekuro of Niger Delta, Amanyanabo of Okochiri Kingdom.
It saw in attendance veteran actor Emeka Ike, Sen. Dino Melaye, comedian MC Tagwaye, Lady G of Wazobia FM, and other stakeholders.
Sen. Dino Melaya appreciated the organizer(s) of the event Amb. Chris Odeh for his selfless service in organizing such an event which was one of it’s kind.
According to him;
it is good to be your brother’s keeper, so doing only those things that will promote the unity of this country is what it takes to be a good ambassador.
