I Sold The Heads Of The Police Officers Burnt By EndSars Protesters For N1000 – Suspects

Two men were arrested following the killing and dismemberment of several police officers in Ibadan, Oyo State.

According to State Police Commissioner Joe Enwonwu, the suspects sold two decapitated heads of the murdered police officers for 1k on Friday.

However, one of the suspects, Oladipupo Ifakorede, said he had bought the two heads for ritual money purposes. He was arrested together with the sellers Aliu Mubarak and Adewale Abiodun.

Recall that two police officers under the Oyo State Police Command, Ajibola Adegoke and Rotimi Oladele, were among those killed and kidnapped by alleged thugs after the EndSARS protests.

The two police officers were set on fire after they were killed on Thursday 22 October.

After the thugs killed the police officers, they walked away with some body parts.

The arrested culprits are still in police custody while more investigation is being carried out.

Unknown armed men on Friday killed one policeman, kidnapped one Chinese immigrant, and shot another along the new Ado Ekiti – Iyin Ekiti road which is being developed.

Sources said that the abducted victim and the shot victim were part of a team of Chinese emigrants working on the road construction that the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, granted to a Chinese company.

Ekiti Command Police Public Relations Officer Sunday Abutu, who confirmed the incident, said: “It has been confirmed that an abduction incident took place today (Friday) at about 4. 30 pm along the new Iyin road, in which one civilian was abducted, another injured and a police officer shot dead.

Abutu said that Ekiti State Police Command staff “are already combing the bush for a possible arrest of the perpetrators.

“Ekiti State Police Commander Tunde Mobayo is ordering everyone to remain calm and avoid any form of arrest, as the command will do everything possible to save the victim and arrest the perpetrators, ” the police spokesman said.
