Innocent Looking IMSU Student Arrested With Gun Used for Cultism, See His Reasons (Photos).
Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested Onyeme Victor Chimaobi, a 20-year-old student of Imo State University for his alleged involvement in cultism.
A statement released by SP Orlando Ikeokwu, operatives of the Divisional Police Hqrs, Shell Camp, Owerri, intercepted the suspect during a routine patrol.

Ikeokwu said locally made Pistols and two live ammunition were recovered from the suspect. The police spokesperson said the suspect confessed to being the owner of the gun and said he uses it for his personal protection.
The police spokesperson added that the suspect would be arraigned in court as soon as possible.

A notorious cultist and armed robber has been apprehended by Operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command.
Spokesman Mohammed Jalige made the disclosure in a statement on Sunday, May 9.
Mr. Jalige said the command acted on credible intelligence received from a good samaritan through the DPO Kabala West on May 8, about 7 am, which led to his arrest.
“We were reliably informed that a suspected armed robber responsible for terrorizing and dispossessing unsuspecting commuters of their valuables on Nnamdi Azikwe Expressway, Kaduna, was sighted at a usual spot.
“On getting a hint of the situation, the operatives of the command swiftly swung into action, carefully traced the location and succeeded in apprehending the suspect.”
He said that the suspect hails from Dekina LGA in Kogi and lives in Karatudu Unguwan Romi, Kaduna.
“We recovered in his possession 92G Elite Centurion Baretta Pistol loaded with six rounds of 9mm ammunition,” Jalige said

Two robbery suspects got quite unlucky as they were lynched by a mob in Yamadawa Quarter in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State, for allegedly attempting to snatch a car on Wednesday May 5.
The suspects identified as Abdullahi Isma’il, 24, of Sani Mainagge Quarters, in Kano metropolis and Abubakar Hussain, 24, of Kankara LGA, Katsina State, allegedly made their move while residents were breaking their Ramadan fast Wednesday evening.
It reportedly drew the attention of some residents who raised an alarm.

The suspects were apprehended after the area was cordoned off following the alarm raised. Isma’il however died from injuries sustained from the lynching.
Police spokesperson in Kano, Abdullahi Kiyawa said;
