A female student from the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, who had been reported missing last week, has been tragically found dead in a bush in Ilorin.

The student, identified as Awesu Mojisola Morufat, had recently completed her studies in the Public Health Department and signed out on the 6th of this month, just days before her convocation. She was allegedly murdered for ritual purposes.

According to sources, the victim was lured to Ilorin by her boyfriend, Promise Ogunse, under the pretense of attending a friend’s birthday party. Tragically, she was killed, allegedly for ritualistic reasons.

Promise Ogunse and his father, Prophet Adeniyi Adebayo (also known as Ogunse), of The Light of God Miracle Embassy Church in Offa, Kwara State, have reportedly been arrested in connection with the murder.

The case is currently under investigation at the police headquarters in Ilorin, Kwara State.
