Scorpion One of The Deadliest Cult Leader That Has Killed Many Finally Arrested in Lagos.
Detectives of the Lagos State Task Force, Environment and Special Offences Unit, after a series of investigations and monitoring finally, apprehended the notorious Awawa Boys cult leader, identified as Tobi Akinbayo, 28, alias, Scorpion, and two other suspected members, at Aluminium Village, Dopemu, Agege area of the state.
Chairman of the Task Force, Superintendent Olayinka Egbeyemi, while taking the three suspects, confirmed that the wicked activities of the dreaded group had posed a serious challenge to the command and other state security agencies.

He further narrated that the reported cases of r3pe, armed robbery, and killing of innocent citizens by the cultists before their arrest became worrisome to security agencies in the state.
According to the task force boss, the Command got so many petitions about the nefarious activities of the Awawa Boys and, based on the petitions, he ordered the surveillance unit of the agency to closely trail their activities in all parts of the state, which later paid off with the arrest of the suspects in Agege part of the state.
He said that the group had been disturbing the area, saying that other of their leaders, who escaped include One Paul, alias Bouncing, leader of ‘ Nokia Group’ and Habeeb, alias Oluwa, of ‘ Shita Boys’ who have killed and robbed so many innocent citizens of their valuables in the state.
Confession Made By The Notorious Cult Leader After His Arrest
During interrogations, the suspect Tobi a. k. a. Scorpion, who resides at 10, Salako Street, Aluminum Village, Dopemu, confessed that he and his boys terrorised, burgled, r3pe and killed so many innocent people who confronted them during any of their robbery operations around Dopemu area.

The leader of the cult group: added that they sold Indian hemp to commercial bus drivers and area boys around Dopemu and its environs.
According to him, the group during one of its operations forcefully had canal knowledge of one Miss Rufia Ogunbowale, daughter of one Mrs. Taiwo Iyabo, who lives at 26, Bello Street, Dopemu, Agege on May 5, at about 12 noon.
Statement Made By One Of Their R3pe Victims After Their Arrest
After their arrest and confession, a 12- year- old girl who was identified as Rufia said the suspect jumped the fence to enter their room one fateful day when her mother had left for the market. He g@gg3d her with the scarf on her head before he had carnal knowledge of her.
She said her mother, who could not do anything for fear of being killed, quickly took her to Abeokuta, where she was treated and she had since been living in Abeokuta at her late father’s house.
She said scorpion threatened to kill her mother if she dare reported them to any security agencies.
Her 46- year- old mother said: ” They r3p8d my daughter. But as they threatened to kill me and other children if I report to the police, I took her to her late father’ s house at Abeokuta for treatment and she has been staying there since. “

The case of this notorious and deadly cult boys led by scorpion their gang leader has been on the nevers of all the security agencies to the extent that almost all residenta of the state were now leaving in fear.
These boys according to some people were not operating ordinary but with the help of somloacl charms which they used for their protections, they have robbed attacked and kill so many people in the state but it was the end of the road for them as they were finally arrested.
The arrest of scorpion as popularly known by so many people was a big relief to lagosians and its environs.
