They Call Him Monkey, But Today He’s Made His Mother A Rich Woman.
On November 17 this year, Afrimax Rwanda highlighted the life of a special Rwandese boy named Sanzimana Elly who was born different with a facial appearance closely relating that of an African a chimp.

It was a story that touched the hearts of lots of individuals on the internet with some inquiring how they could contact the family to help where they can.
Four weeks later, the same media company has revealed how their story changed the life of Elly’s mother after they had posted it on the internet.
That the Kinyarwanda version of the story attracted immediate reactions from Elly’s countrymen and they started sending them some money and foodstuffs for daily use.
That they were using a neighbour’s phone on which money from well-wishers was being sent back then but unfortunately his house was broken into by thieves who stole everything including that phone.
However, this didn’t stop generous people from extending their hand and Elly’s mother kept receiving foodstuffs like rice, flour, and cooking oil over time.

The Afrimax journalist himself had carried some bundles of cash to hand it to Elly’s mother and when he gave her, she was lost for words
She only thanked him and asked that God blesses whoever played a part in supporting her together with her son.
To see that she’s safe, the journalists took Elly’s mother to the bank and even opened another bank account for her to store the huge sum of money.

In that recently released video, the journalist says Elly’s mother even received some money from the Netherlands leaving it in the bank for security reasons.
