VIDEO: Fire Guts One-Story Building in Lagos State.
Lagos, Nigeria – March 4, 2024: A fire ripped through a one-story building on Lagos Street, Ebute Metta, Lagos State, late Monday evening. The concerning incident was captured in a video shared on social media by a user with the handle @ChuksEricE. The video shows the upper floor of the building engulfed in flames.
According to reports, emergency responders had not yet arrived at the scene when the video was shared. This fire comes just over a month after another fire incident at the popular Mandilas Building on Broad Street in Lagos Island Local Government Area.
The cause of the fire at the Lagos Street building is currently unknown and investigations are ongoing. It is also unclear if there were any injuries or casualties as a result of the blaze.
