What we are trying to say is it’s pretty easy to fall in love — or at least in ‘like’ — with your co-stars. We see it all the time. Even when we don’t see it, we are convinced it’s still happening (Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence is just one example). Rumors abound when we think we see co-stars kissing other co-stars. There’s also the infamous example of Mr. and Mrs. Smithstars Angelina and Brad, who were with other people but fell in love on set. The world spins and co-stars fall in love; it’s that simple.

20 Dated: Green Lantern’s Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively

This one should come as no surprise to you, readers, because our beautiful Blake Lively and hunky Ryan Reynolds are now married!

The two wed in South Carolina in 2012 and now have two beautiful daughters that they are raising in upstate New York.

When discussing the moment he knew Lively was the one, Ryan had this to say in an interview with GQ last year: “We were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that’s open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, ‘Want to dance?’ No one was in there, so it was just totally empty. And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, ‘Oh, I think I just crossed a line.’ And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don’t really need to go into what happened after that.”

The two met on the set of filming for The Green Lantern (2010). Lively had just ended a relationship with Gossip Girl alum Penn Badgley while Reynolds had just come out of casual flings with actress Charlize Theron and model Agnes Fischer. The two seem to be inseparable ever since they met, and their love story is one that all of America watches and continuously awes over!

19 Best Friends: Passengers Co-Stars Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence

Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence were a major part of the rumor mill when they starred in the Passengers movie in 2016. According to IMDb, “a spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in its sleep chambers. As a result, two passengers are awakened 90 years early.” It is basically a futuristic love story.

Lawrence, 27, is known for her work in The Hunger Games movies, American Hustle, and Silver Linings Playbook. Pratt, on the other hand, will turn 39 this year. He is best known for roles in Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy. In 2017, Pratt announced his split from actress Anna Faris and the universe went wild blaming Jennifer Lawrence for the two parting ways. There were rumors of an affair between the two co-stars. Lawrence addressed these rumors in early 2018 stating this: “I never had an affair with Chris Pratt on Passengers. That’s a good one. I mean they got a divorce like two years later and everybody was like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence!’ And I was like, ‘What the…what I’m in Montreal two years later.'” Despite these rumors, Lawrence has clearly and heavily denied an affair (as did Pratt and Faris). Lawrence and Pratt, however, still remain good friends to this day.

18 Dated: Romance Abound, Ryan Gosling & Rachel McAdams

These two met on the set of The Notebookin 2003. McAdams, 39, was riding the fame from her Mean Girls‘ role, Regina George, while Ryan Gosling, 37, was already a household name thanks to his roles inMurder by Numbers and Remember the Titans.

It is heavily rumored that they actually did not get along on set despite their incredible romantic on-screen chemistry.

Director Nick Cassavetes told Daily Mail in 2014: “Maybe I’m not supposed to tell this story, but they were really not getting along one day on set. Really not. Ryan came to me, and there’s 150 people standing in this big scene, and he says, ‘Nick come here.’ And he’s doing a scene with Rachel and he says, ‘Would you take her out of here and bring in another actress to read off camera with me? I can’t. I can’t do it with her. I’m just not getting anything from this.'”

Cassavetes was so desperate to make it work, he had someone come in to do a therapy session with the two of them — thankfully things got better after that.

Despite how much they fought on set, the two started a romance after filming was done and dated on and off for five years! They never married, though, and now McAdams has welcomed a child with her beau while Gosling is married to famous star Eva Mendes, 44. The pair has two children together!

17 Best Friends: The Fantastic Jessica Alba & Chris Evans

These two stars met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004. Alba was just 23 at the time and still growing her star power. She had already had big roles in hits like Honey, Sin City, and the television show Dark Angel. Evans, on the other hand, who is the same age as Alba, had starred in the comedy Not Another Teen Movie and the suspenseful Cellular. The two played brother and sister Johnny and Sue, superheroes that had trouble controlling their powers. A second movie came out in 2007, solidifying their popularity and their friendship.

Evans went on to star in The Nanny Diaries, Push, and Captain America. Alba went on to grow her romantic comedy movie list with hits like Good Luck Chuck, Valentine’s Day, and Some Kind of Beautiful. The two still remain friends to this day! In 2011, the two were spotted out at The Beverly with other stars like Adam Brody and Lo Bosworth. This was right after Alba had given birth! Maybe they were celebrating? Then, Evans was seen with then-girlfriend Minka Kelly attending Alba’s birthday party in 2013. Maybe these two will star in another Fantastic Four movie down the road? Only time will tell!

16 Dated: Vampire Love With Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson

These two have most recently been spotted together, making everyone wonder if a love reunion is on the horizon. However, the way these two and their relationship started and ended (by exploding in flames) really makes us wonder if anything will ever be rekindled.

If you do not know already, these two met on the set of Twilight, the first movie in the series, when it began filming in 2007. Stewart, 28, was just 17 at the time. She was known for small roles in Panic Roomand The Messengers before landing the role that would make her a household name. Pattinson, on the other hand, was a young 21 when filming started.

The two started dating almost immediately and dated for almost four years before Stewart was caught kissing Rupert Sanders, the married director she worked with onSnow White and the Huntsman. 

Pattinson, now 31, and Stewart subsequently broke up after this; however, they did try again before breaking up for good in 2013.

They both went on to date other people the last five years or so. However, the fact that this on-screen couple fell in love off-screen made their Twilight fans so happy for so many years.

15 Best Friends: Gravity’s Sandra Bullock & George Clooney

These two have been friends for years and, despite many fans wanting the two to get together, they have remained close while still falling in love and creating a life with other people. The pair worked on Gravitytogether, a movie about being lost in space. Bullock is known for several roles as she has been in Hollywood for decades, just like Clooney.

The actress, 53, is known for roles in movies like Speed, The Lake House, Miss Congeniality, The Proposal, and The Blind Side. Most recently she has starred in a sequel to Clooney’s Ocean’s trilogy, Ocean’s 8. Clooney, on the other hand, most recently turned 57 and has just welcomed twins into the world with his wife, Amal. Clooney made a name for himself over the years with movies like One Fine Day, The Perfect Storm, Syriana, Michael Clayton, andTomorrowland. The series that put him on the map, however, was the hit medical drama, ER.

So how did the two meet? Bullock told The Daily News in 2015: “Grant [Our Brand is Crisis‘ director], George and the person I dated were all friends. George was the reason the guy that I ended up dating dated me. He was like, ‘If you don’t get with her, I’m gonna get with her.’ He was kidding, but sort of pushing.”

These two are the classic ’90s couple, thanks to their incredible talent and ability to shack up on the set of movies together. Paltrow was known for roles in Hook, Se7en, Shakespeare in Love, and The Talented Mr. Ripley before starring in Bounce with fellow actor Ben Affleck. She was just 28 at the time and had already dated Se7en co-star Brad Pitt.

Affleck, on the other hand, was also a young 28 when he met beautiful blonde Gwyneth on set.

According to Daily Mail, Gwyneth had some choice things to say about dating Affleck way back when in 2015: “He was not in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend,” Gwyneth told Howard Stern earlier this year, even suggesting that her friends and parents supported her decision to end the relationship.

The two broke up not long after and went on to date other famous people. Affleck, now 47, went on to date Gigli co-star Jennifer Lopez. The two got engaged before calling it quits. Not long after, Affleck began dating Jennifer Garner, who he married and had three children with. The two recently split, but are happily co-parenting their children.

Paltrow, now 47, is marrying boyfriend Brad Falchuk this year. After dating Affleck, she went on to eventually date Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. The two wed and had two children together before “consciously uncoupling” in 2014.

13 Best Friends: Age Means Nothing, Reese Witherspoon & Robert Pattinson

Believe it or not, rumors even flew about these two shacking up! These two were always just friends, though, when they worked together on the set of Water for Elephants in 2010. Pattinson, 32, is best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga movies. He has also starred in Remember Me and Vanity Fair (which Witherspoon was a part of, too). Witherspoon, on the other hand, has just signed on for a third Legally Blonde movie and is known for her romantic comedy skills, starring in movies like Walk the Line, Sweet Home Alabama, This Means War, and Just Like Heaven. The actress, 42, married manager Jim Toth right after Water for Elephants wrapped in 2011.

These two remain friends to this day and, in 2012, when word spread that Kristen Stewart, Pattinson’s girlfriend of several years and his co-star in the Twilight movies, was unfaithful, Witherspoon was the one helping Pattinson cope with the heartbreak. According to hollywoodlife.com, “Reese has been a huge help for Rob. They have talked a lot because Reese has gone through her own really bad breakup and it’s worked out for her, so she has been trying to tell him that it only gets better and he should look at what she has gone through as the perfect example.”

12 Dated: Thundery Days, Nicole Kidman & Tom Cruise

Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman is now happily married to country singer Keith Urban. The actress has been around for decades and has had some interesting relationships in the limelight. Kidman, now 50, was known for Emerald City (1988) before starring in Days of Thunder in 1990 as Dr. Claire Lewicki. She met hunky Tom Cruise on the set of the movie. Cruise, now 55, was known for Risky Business, Top Gun,and Rain Man before falling in love with Kidman on set.

The two wed quickly in 1989 and were married for almost ten years before they divorced in the spring of 1998.

The couple adopted two kids during their time together and Kidman was even pregnant when they split, but unfortunately had a miscarriage not long after that breakup.

Cruise went on to date Sofia Vergara and Penelope Cruz before marrying Katie Holmes in 2005; they announced they were expecting just one month after they started dating! They had a daughter, Suri, and happily raised her before divorcing in the summer of 2012. Kidman, on the other hand, is happily married to Keith Urban and has two daughters with him. They split their time between Nashville and Australia.

11 Best Friends: On-Screen Sister And Brother Jordana Brewster & Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster are most widely known for their roles in all the Fast & Furious movies. The phenomenon began in 2001 with the first movie. Brewster, who plays Mia Torretto, fell for FBI-turned-criminal Brian, who was played by the late Paul Walker. In the first movie, Diesel’s character, Dom Torretto (Mia’s older brother) and Brian do not get along. Throughout the next four films, however, Dom and Brian create an incredible bond over racing cars and saving lives. Mia and Brian even get married and start having babies. The incredible movie series has released 8 movies as of 2016 and the two stars are currently working on two more!

When Paul Walker died in 2015, the loss deeply affected the entire cast but brought them together to become even more of a family. In a recent interview with US Weekly, Brewster discusses coming back to the franchise after not being a part of the eighth installment: “I did miss it,” she tells Us of her time away from the films. “Any time I’m not a part of the franchise I love so much, I definitely miss it so I am excited to be back. We are family and we have the best fanbase in the world so I am very happy to be coming back.”

10 Dated: Magic With Alex Pettyfer & Riley Keough

These two are not as widely known as some other stars on our list, however, they both starred in the infamous movie Magic Mike, alongside Channing Tatum, Olivia Munn, and Matthew McConaughey. The two first appeared together in October 2011, when the film’s production was just about finished. Keough, who just turned 28, is known for roles in Dixieland and Mad Max: Fury Road. Alex Pettyfer, who will be 28 next year, is known for a role in I Am Number Four, his Magic Mike role, and his infamous fight with Tatum on the set of the smash hit.

Keough, who comes from a famous family (Elvis Presley is her late grandfather), called it quits with Pettyfer in 2012 after an exciting and romantic engagement.

However, according to US Weekly in 2013, the pair had gotten back together and were spotted getting cozy at The Butler premiere. The two called it quits for good in 2014, however, and Keough went on to date Robert Pattinson after his infamous breakup with his co-star, Kristen Stewart. Pettyfer went on to date Sports Illustrated model Marloes Horst before they broke up in 2016. The hunky actor is currently single and working on no other movies.

9 Best Friends: Singing, Dating, & Blending With Drew Barrymore & Adam Sandler

These two have been longtime best friends ever since their work on The Wedding Singerback in 1998. Sandler played Robbie, a poor wedding singer, that falls for good girl Julia, played by Drew Barrymore. The two remained friends and worked on separate ventures like Barrymore’s Riding in Cars With Boys, Charlie’s Angels, and Duplex. Sandler starred in Little Nicky and Mr. Deedsbefore the two reunited once again for the movie 50 First Dates (2004). The movie centered on Henry Roth, played by Sandler, who was a man too afraid to commit until he meets Lucy, played by Drew Barrymore. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan met on the set of Step Up in 2005. Their on-screen chemistry was incredible, as was their dancing, but fans were more intrigued with their romantic chemistry off-screen.

They got married in 2009 and, over the years, have grown to be one of America’s favorite couples thanks to their sweet quotes about each other, the birth of their daughter in 2013, and how perfect they look together.

It seems that passionate love fizzled out, however, because, in early April, the two announced their split in a joint statement, as reported by Elle: “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. 7 Best Friends: Romantic Comedy Superstars, Matthew McConaughey & Kate Hudson

Similar to Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, this pair has also starred in more than one movie together after hitting it off so well on the set of the first one. It is hard to choose our favorite, too, because these two have undeniable chemistry on-screen, even though they have never pursued anything off-screen.

Kate Hudson is the daughter of famous actress Goldie Hawn, who has been in a relationship with actor Kurt Russell for over twenty years. Hudson got her start in movies like Almost Famous and The Four Feathers before she landed the role of Andie in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Daysalongside Matthew McConaughey. McConaughey, now 48, plays Ben Barry, an advertising executive who makes a bet with his friends that he can make a woman fall in love with him in just ten short days. Hudson plays that girl he picks, who is a writer that is assigned the story of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”. So, unbeknownst to them, they each have an agenda. What ensues is a hilarious romantic comedy ending in love.

Just five years later, these two reunite on the set of Fool’s Gold as a married couple that has a passion for hunting for gold down in the Florida Keys. The two stars produced another blockbuster hit and have continued to remain friends to this day.

6 Dated: The Pitch Is Perfect With Anna Camp & Skylar Astin

Skylar Astin and Anna Camp, 35, were not popular names in pop culture, but both of them made it big when they starred in the blockbuster hit Pitch Perfect, alongside Anna Kendrick, which was released in 2012. The film was so popular that it had two sequels over the last five years! BeforePitch, Camp was known for a small role onThe Help, while Astin had only had small one-episode roles on shows like House andGirls.

In early 2013, Camp’s husband at the time (actor Michael Mosley) filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. While the divorce was being finalized, Camp began dating her co-star Astin.

The two made their first appearance at an event in Santa Monica in June of that year.

5 Best Friends: There Is Always A Silver Lining, Bradley Cooper & Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence appears on our list again, but thankfully it is for a much better reason than infidelity rumors! As many co-stars on our list have shown us, if they work so well together on-screen and get along so great off-screen, why not continue to star in movies together? Bradley Cooper’s friendship with Jennifer Lawrence is no different. The two met on the set of Silver Linings Playbook in 2011. Lawrence was hot off her fame from The Hunger Games, while Cooper already had an established career with movies like Wedding Crashers and The Hangover. Silver Linings went on to receive critical acclaim like never before. In 2015, Cooper discussed their on-screen chemistry as “natural” and explained that their connection is “rare”.

After Silver Linings, they went on to star together in American Hustle the following year. With an ensemble cast, the movie centers around “A con man . . . along with his seductive partner . . . [who] is forced to work for a wild FBI Agent . . . who pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and the Mafia,” according to IMDb. In 2014, they starred together in Serena, and, in 2015, they starred in the movie Joy, making that four total movies they have worked on together. We have a feeling they won’t be the last, either!

4 Dated: A Thrill With Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes

Ryan Gosling has already been on our list as he previously fell in love and dated his The Notebook co-star, Rachel McAdams. After these two broke up in 2009, Gosling went on to date Kat Dennings and Blake Lively before he met Eva Mendes on the set of the thriller The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011.

The two welcomed a daughter in September 2014 and just two short years later welcomed another child, a little girl as well!

According to bravotv.com, Mendes, 42, talked to People about her family and her daughters. “Esmeralda mostly speaks Spanglish right now. It’s really cute. She’s definitely bilingual, and it’s really important for us to make sure that she’s not only just familiar with the language, but also with the culture. My mom, who lives 15 minutes away, makes it easy because she speaks to the girls in Spanish and cooks them Cuban food. And we’re always listening to Cuban music. It really is a big part of our way of life. I wouldn’t have it any other way. My dad, who has been here for 45 years and still doesn’t speak English, is a real asset. It’s so cool because now that I’m trying to make sure that my girls speak Spanish, it’s like, ‘Ok, Dad, take them,’ because I know that all they’re going to speak with him is Spanish.” What a happy family, that never would have happened if these two did not meet on set!

3 Best Friends: Lucky Number Five, Jennifer Aniston & Jason Bateman

Jennifer Aniston is virtually America’s sweetheart, becoming famous with her role as Rachel on Friends before segueing into a movie career with hits like Picture Perfect,The Good Girl, Bruce Almighty, Derailed, The Break-Up, and Love Happens, among several others. She is arguably the most famousFriend to this day, growing her career even bigger than it was a decade ago. In 2010, she reunited with star Jason Bateman for a third time on the set of Horrible Bossesafter they co-starred together in The Break-Up and The Switch.

According to IMDb, “three friends conspire to [off] their awful bosses when they realize they are standing in the way of their happiness.” Bateman, known for roles in movies like Smokin’ Aces, Juno, Couples Retreat, and The Change-Up, plays one of the three friends while Aniston, in a role that really proves her acting chops, stars as a dentist and one of the horrible bosses they plot to get rid of, so to speak.

This film had a sequel come out in 2014, marking the fourth time these two worked together. Then, in 2016, they reunited for number five with Office Christmas Party. Of working together that much, Aniston toldPeople that Bateman is “like family that I actually have a really good relationship with.”

2 Dated: Spiderman’s Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield, who turns 35 this year, got his big start in the hit movie The Social Network (2010), before landing the role if Spider-Man in the 2012 remake of the hit franchise. Some people claimed it was too early to do a remake of the Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst-era megahits, but it went forward anyway. This is where Garfield met Emma Stone, the fellow actress who played his love interest, Gwen Stacy. Stone, arguably more popular than Garfield, was already known for roles in movies like Super Bad, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Easy A, andCrazy, Stupid, Love.

The two fall in love on set in 2011, but do not confirm anything until almost two years later with a red carpet appearance at the Kids’ Choice Awards in April 2012.

Three years later, reports surfaced that the fan-favorite couple had split. The two remain friends, however, and are seen hugging on red carpets months and years after. They even individually bring each other up in interviews, doting on each other after the breakup was long gone. We had all let go of a reconciliation, however, in May 2018, they were spotted in New York getting cozy, so we hope a reunion is happening soon!

1 Best Friends: Suspense Co-Stars, Emily Blunt & Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston was on our list with Jason Bateman not too long ago, but did you know that the famous couple is known as Jennifer and Justin [Theroux], who split earlier this year, have lots of famous friends? Another couple they often used to spend time and vacation with was none other than The Office‘s Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

Krasinski is also known for roles in movies like Jarhead, The Holiday, 13 Hours, and A Quiet Place. He wed Blunt, 35, in 2010 and the pair has two daughters together. Blunt, on the other hand, is known for roles in movies like The Devil Wears Prada, Edge of Tomorrow, Into the Woods, and The Girl on the Train. Coming out in 2016, this movie stars Justin Theroux as well, who is a good friend of Blunt’s. According to IMDb, “a divorcee becomes entangled in a missing person’s investigation that promises to send shockwaves throughout her life.” Theroux, 46, plays Blunt’s ex-husband in the movie.

Of course, now that Aniston and Theroux are no longer together, we aren’t really sure how often friends Emily and Justin will hang out, in which case we have another relationship to mourn along with this divorce.
