COVID-19 Cases Hits 318 with 10 Deaths in Nigeria.

With 13 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) reported (11 in Lagos State, one in Delta State and one in Kano State), Nigeria now has 318 cases.

“As at 9:30pm of April 11, there are 318 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. So far so good, 70 patients have been discharged and 10 deaths have been recorded,” said the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

As at today, there are 19 states with confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

These states are:

Lagos – 174
FCT – 56
Osun – 20
Edo – 12
Oyo – 11
Ogun – 7
Bauchi – 6
Kaduna – 6
Akwa Ibom – 5
Katsina – 4
Delta – 3
Enugu – 2
Ekiti – 2
Rivers – 2
Kwara – 2
Ondo – 2
Benue – 1
Niger – 1
Anambra – 1
Kano – 1

Meanwhile, NCDC has said two new labs have been activated for COVID-19 testing.

These include: Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Influenza Laboratory in Kano and National Veterinary Research Institute in Plateau State.

This brings the number of COVID-19 testing labs in Nigeria to 11.
