In a viral video on social media, Abdulkareem challenged Pastor Adeboye to address the issues facing the nation, noting that the cleric had been vocal during Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency. He recalled how Adeboye organized a one million-man march to protest the state of the nation under Jonathan’s rule.
In his remarks, Abdulkareem accused Adeboye of hypocrisy for not taking similar action against the Tinubu government. He urged Adeboye to mobilize his followers to protest against the current administration as he did before.

“Daddy, during Goodluck Jonathan’s time, your voice was so loud. You even vowed to stage a one million-man march. Now, under Tinubu’s government, with hunger and hardship rampant, you say Nigeria has a spiritual problem. We need your one million disciples to protest against President Tinubu’s government just as you did against President Jonathan. Daddy, are your disciples’ legs hurting? This is a big hypocrisy. It’s time to speak truth to power because Nigerians are starving,” Abdulkareem said in the video.
