Flood Hits Mozambique Over 1,000 Dead

Over 1000 people are dead as Cyclone Idai hits villages close to Biera City, Mozambique causing heavy rainfall and thunder storms officials say.

The heavy rainfall caused massive destruction of properties, crops and flooding which submerged some villages around the metropolice.

According to reports the flooding went on for two weeks, some villages were washed away.

Cyclone Idai and Kenneth are two of the top five worst storms to ever hit Mozambique.
