Mass Burial Of 200 Residents In Zamfara Following Bandits’ Attack – Nigerians React.

Emotions have been evoked following the recovery and burial of about 200 bodies who died after gunmen suspected to be bandits invaded different communities in Zamfara State.

The communities mentioned include ” Barayar Zaki, Wanu, Rafin Gero, Laho, Lallaho, Kurfar Danya, Dutsin Dan Ajiya, Tungar Geza, Kewaye and Tungar Na More. “

Reports say the bodies were recovered from bushes as some of the people were caught unawares while in their farmlands.

A source noted that about 140 bodies of vigilante members were buried on Friday after the bandits numbering bout 300 and armed with sophisticated weapons, had on Wednesday stormed the communities on motorcycles and started firing sporadically.

Another source said the bandits also destroyed valuables, abducted and displaced several persons, including women and children in the affected communities.
