Meet Barion Texzas, the Nigerian Artist Who Can Sketch Anything Using Razor Blade and His Hands.
Nigerian youths are known to be hard-working and talented in various fields of life, most especially in arts and crafts.
Abdulrasheed Musa popularly known by his stage name as Barion Texzas is a young man from Bauchi State of Nigeria. Barion is making Nigeria proud through his skills in wood-burning and “razor blade art” also referred to as “scraffito blade art.”

Scraffito blade art is a method of sketching or drawing using a razor blade instead of a brush or pencil.
During a chat with yours truly, the young artist expressed his love for art and music and how he ventured into the business of wood-burning and scraffito blade art.
According to Barion, right from when he was young he has always had a soft spot for artworks.
After graduating from Kaduna State polytechnic, he decided to follows his passion which was drawing and sketching. He then enlisting at BENCO Art Gallery located at Murtala Square Kaduna for further studies.

This gave him the required exposure, experience in scraffito blade art, and wood burning, which is something he would forever be grateful for.
“I had to follow my passion after graduating from high institution. My passion for art made me enroll at Benco Art Gallery for further studies. Scraffito art is not very common here in Nigeria even though it’s been there through time immemorial. I’m hoping this interview will enlighten many on wood burning and scraffito art” He said
Barion has worked for a handful of celebrities including top personalities such as 2face Idibia, the Vice President of Nigeria Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of FCT, Bala Mohamed and so many others.
Aside from art, Barion Texzas is also a rap artist; he has dropped so many tracks over the years. His hit track “How High” is widely listened to in Nigeria and across Africa. If he is not sketching, then definitely he’s in the studio cooking hit tracks.
While rounding up, Barion advised the youths to discover their purpose and talent in Life. He went on to say the youths should engage in something lucrative that will pay their bills and put food on the table.
“My advice to the youth is for them to become their boss by learning handwork or trade. If I become the President of Nigeria someday, I will change the Change.” He added.
