Meet Blessing the Young and Sweet Army Officer From Ebonyi State.

The Army is regarded as the powerhouse of any Nation, and they are the last resort of defense from external and internal conflicts and war.

The Nigerian Army is regarded as the best on ground combat in the continent Africa, and one officer, in particular, is adding more colours and accolades to the force.

Her name is Blessing Ekwe and she just joined the force. It has always been her dreams right from when she was still a child. From a glance, you can tell the young officer is an epitome of beauty with brains.

Blessing is from Ebonyi State, the southeastern part of Nigeria and she is a proud army officer who’s not shy of showing the world what she represents, “authority”.

Many people regard the Army as a career for only men, well you wouldn’t blame them, it takes a whole lot of courage, determination, and endurance to scale through the training, and blessing emerged successfully.

While speaking in a phone chat with yours truly, Blessing narrated the circumstances surrounding her decision to join the force.

According to her, she was skeptical of joining after hearing so many discouraging stories both from friends, family, and on-air.

All these did not matter as she was still determined to pursue her dreams of becoming an army officer.

She told me how often she admired army officers in uniform while she was still very little as a child and how she dreamed of wearing the uniform one they.

She often looks at herself in the mirror while mimicking an officer’s movement with shoulders high.

It took much determination and zeal for her to finally take the decision of joining the force.

To her, it’s the best thing that has happened and she’s not regretting the move.

Currently, blessing is training to become a nurse in the Nigeria Army and she plans on equipping herself with more knowledge on the field as she purses her career way to the top.
