Ned Nwoko: I Fear for Regina Daniels’ Life; She’s Battling Drug and Alcohol Abuse.
A troubling public dispute has erupted between Senator Ned Nwoko and his wife, actress Regina Daniels, placing their high-profile marriage under a harsh spotlight. The conflict stems from a disturbing video of Daniels crying and stating she could no longer endure “the violence,” which recently went viral online.
In the video, an emotional Daniels allegedly claims she has been a victim of abuse by her husband. Unverified reports circulating online suggest she accused Nwoko of beating her “on every provocation” and sending thugs to attack her and her siblings. Further reports alleged that the senator controls all assets, including properties, cars, and jewelry, purchasing them in his name and leaving Daniels with no possessions of her own. This is reportedly linked to ongoing tensions over her desire to work and earn her own income, a request she claims Nwoko ignores, insisting he provides everything she needs.
However, Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly refuted these claims, presenting a counter-narrative that attributes the marital strife to his wife’s struggles with substance abuse.
In a detailed statement, Nwoko asserted that Regina Daniels is battling drug and alcohol addiction. He expressed fear for her life and safety, stating that he has urged her to enter a rehabilitation program.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko said. “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
He denied all allegations of violence, pointing to his relationships with his other wives. “I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting three staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause,” he claimed.
Nwoko stated that his primary condition for reconciliation is her acceptance of a rehab program, either in Asokoro or abroad in a location like Jordan, where she would have no access to drugs. He also made serious allegations against individuals he named as her drug suppliers.
“While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,” Nwoko said.
The marriage between Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko has been a subject of public fascination since it began, largely due to their significant age difference.
