“Please Forgive Me”: Oba’s Arrest Threat Forces Mandy Kiss to Apologize for 100-Man Marathon Stunt.
Controversial social media attention seeker Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, is now begging for forgiveness. This comes after she recently vowed to proceed with her controversial “100-man marathon,” a stunt from which Guinness World Records has already distanced itself.

Her change of heart follows a directive from the Oba of Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Ogun State, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, who called for her arrest.
According to Mandy, her initial bravado was just for fun and an attempt to drive engagement to her social media page.

Despite Guinness World Records stating they were not involved, Mandy had continued to promote the event. In a recent video, she bragged that she would carry on regardless. “Nothing will ever make me not to carry out my own plans this September 30,” she said. “If you don’t want to record it, I will record it myself. It is not your body, it is mine, so don’t bother yourself.”

The Oba, however, found her actions to be a public nuisance. He stated that her words and intentions would bring shame to the people of Ogun State and ordered that she be arrested and “remain behind bars.”

Many Nigerians have reacted to the saga, suggesting that content creators like Mandy are willing to go to any length for cheap attention, often in a negative way. Many are also questioning why such creators do not follow in the proper footsteps of people like Hilda Baci, who used official channels to gain positive recognition.
This situation has led many to ask: Why do bad things seem to thrive faster in Nigeria?
