These are images of a grounded whale which was killed in the Niger Delta part of Nigeria by residents residing in the riverine area.
The whale was reported to have been swept to the shores of the beach at the Okpoama and Onyekia communities in Brass Local government area of Bayelsa State on Sunday 28/07/2019.
The villagers pounced on it and started cutting it into pieces in excitement.
From the look of things, a public holiday might be declared in the region to accommodate the celebration by the people.
