Do Bleaching Creams Truly Cause Cancer?

Do bleaching creams cause cancer? I’ve been hearing a lot about bleaching creams and pills causing cancer and I’m scared. Can they actually cause cancer? Which ones in particular are dangerous?

You are right to be scared.

Bleaching creams remove the first layer of your skin, which is called the epidermis, thereby exposing the lower layer that protects some delicate organs in the body.

Exposing these organs to the sun allows dangerous ultraviolet rays to access them and damage them, thereby predisposing the person to all sorts of ailments including but not limited to cancer. It is not medically advisable to use these creams.
