On a sad note reports reaching us confirms that former Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh was assassinated on he way back from farm.
According to Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, Director of Public Relations and Information Headquarters Nigerian Air Force who shared the unfortunate incident via his Twitter, late Badeh was attacked and shot dead yesterday 18th December, 2018 while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road.
Ibikunle Daramola also commiserated with family of the former Chief of Defence Staff in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.
On behalf officers, airmen and airwomen of the Nigerian Air Force, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar, commiserates with the family of the late former Chief of Defence Staff over this irreparable loss. We pray that the Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest
