SOS: Video of Depressed Mmesoma Ejikeme Crying and Wanting To Commit Suicide Hits The Internet.
In a shocking turn of events, the story of 19-year-old Mmesoma Ejikeme has taken a distressing twist after she admitted to falsifying her academic results.
Previously, we reported on how she was accused of manipulating her results to gain favor from the public, resulting in a fully paid scholarship from Innoson Motors.
However, her scholarship has now been rescinded, her results invalidated, and she has been banned from taking the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams for three years.
Recently, a video emerged online featuring Mmesoma in a deeply emotional state, contemplating suicide due to the repercussions of the scandal.
Although the video only captured her audio, human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu confirmed that Mmesoma reached out to him in a distressing plea for help, expressing her despair over the devastating consequences of her actions.
It is worth noting that Governor Charles Soludo recently established an eight-member committee, led by Professor Nkemdeli Nnonyelu, to investigate the allegations of result manipulation. The committee’s findings unequivocally confirmed that Mmesoma had indeed tampered with her result.
In response to the distressing video, Gwamnishu shared that he had consoled Mmesoma and advised her against entertaining any thoughts of suicide. He reminded her that making mistakes is a part of life and that anyone could have succumbed to similar temptations under different circumstances.
The outcome of the committee’s investigation has left many Nigerians in a state of shock. The ability of a 19-year-old teenager to manipulate her academic results and deceive the JAMB system remains a bewildering mystery.
It is crucial to emphasize that mental health is of utmost importance, especially during such challenging times like this for Mmesoma.
It is essential for friends, family, and support networks to rally around Mmesoma and offer her the assistance she needs during this difficult period.
