Following attacks on foreign Nationals in South Africa especially Nigerians which has led to the loss of lives and properties worth millions, Singer Tiwa Savage won’t be performing at DSTV Delicious Fastival in Johannesburg as scheduled.
Tiwa tweeted her dismay on the recurrent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians whom she referred to as “My People.”
I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA, This is sick. For this reason i will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with the victims and families affected by this.
