Victoria Goodwin, the wife of American actor Aaron Goodwin, has been arrested for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill her husband. The arrest, which took place on March 6, has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and left many questioning the motives behind such a sinister plot.

Aaron Goodwin, born on April 1, 1976, is best known for his roles in Space Detective (2017), Malevolence (2004), and Crimps (2011). He has also gained recognition for his work on the popular paranormal series Ghost Adventures. The couple tied the knot in a whimsical ceremony at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion on August 8, 2022. However, their marital bliss appears to have taken a dark turn.

According to a report by TMZ, Victoria Goodwin was charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder after allegedly plotting to have her husband killed. The scheme reportedly came to light when correctional officers in Florida seized a contraband phone from an inmate. Text messages between Victoria and the inmate revealed chilling details of the alleged plot.

In one text message, Victoria allegedly wrote, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” The messages also indicated that she had provided the inmate with details about Aaron’s whereabouts while he was filming Ghost Adventures in California. Victoria allegedly agreed to pay the hitman 11,515, with an upfront payment of 2,500.

Despite the damning evidence, Victoria has denied the allegations. According to the arrest report, she admitted that the couple was experiencing “marital problems” but claimed that her exchanges with the inmate were merely “daydreaming or fantasizing about being without her husband.”

The alleged plot was reportedly hatched in October 2024, but it wasn’t until the inmate’s phone was confiscated that authorities became aware of the plan. The arrest has sparked widespread discussion about the complexities of relationships and the extreme measures some individuals may resort to when faced with marital strife.
