These incessant attacks have triggered Indigenes and well meaning Nigerians based in the UK to hold a peaceful protest in solidarity with indigenes and residents of Southern Kaduna. The protest which was organised by the southern Kaduna people in diaspora(SOKAPDA), took place on Thursday 20th August 2020 in front of the Nigerian embassy in London.
It should be recalled that few weeks ago, many indigenes of Southern Kaduna and well meaning Nigerians took to the street of Kaduna, Abuja, Lagos and Zonkwa to protest the killings in this region.
However, the Kaduna state government in conjunction with the Nigerian airforce deployed Special Forces to the region to help quell the insecurity issues.
The people of this region are still facing hard times as attacks are still ongoing despite the security on ground.
All well meaning Nigerians are admonished to pray for normalcy to return in this region.
But the big question is!
Do you think the government is doing enough to contain the insecurity issues in Southern Kaduna?
