Battle On: Tribunal Decides on Presidential Election Petitions, Fix Date For Hearing.
The hearing of the petitions contesting the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) designation of Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, as the winner will take place on Monday, according to the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.
Ahmad El- Marzuq, the APC’s national legal adviser, indicated that the legal struggle by candidates contesting the results of the 2023 presidential election would begin on May 8. El- Marzuq claims that the APC’s legal team is prepared to defend the party’s mandate.
