BBNaija 2021: I Have Been Getting Death Threats From All Conners – Boma Cries Out on Live Interview.

Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Boma Akpore has revealed that he feels like the most hated guy in Africa. 

Boma made the above known during media rounds earlier today after he was booted out of the reality TV competition on Sunday, September 5, alongside three other housemates, Peace, Michael, and Tega.

Recall that Boma came under fire during the latter part of his stay in Biggie’s house after entering into an illicit relationship with a married housemate, Tega. 

In a now-infamous video that immediately went viral, Tega was spotted locking lips with Boma as movement could be seen under the sheets. Not long after, Boma reached out for a roll of tissue paper and proceeded to disappear it under the sheets. 

Tega had also previously kissed Boma for 10 seconds during a truth or Dare game on Sunday, August 29. 

Following their exit from the show, the pair have now realized that Nigerians did not really care much for their illicit affair, and Boma especially has been feeling the heat.

During a chat at Classic FM earlier today, September 6, Boma revealed that since his exit from the show, he had been getting death threats from fans. 

He further revealed that whatever was going on between himself and Tega was just acting and he had no intention of pursuing it outside the house. 

“Coming out to death threats and a kind of crazy things. It was bad,” Boma said.

“I didn’t know how much I was loved at first since I came and won the head of the house. People thought I was a strong contender. But I just thought I was going to be out in a couple of weeks. I’ve never been through that kind of experience before, and I already had a couple of things under my belt before I came into the house, and I felt like Nigerians won’t relate with me.

He also revealed that things are so bad right now, it has affected his mom who was left weeping at the amount of hate directed at her son.

“I didn’t even know people love me that much until I got close to Tega, and we were acting. The fact that it’s a reality show doesn’t mean I brought all my reality on screen. I saw cameras all the time. But coming outside, I knew I was out. I feel like I’m the most hated guy in Africa right now. It was bad, and my mom was crying.”

Recall that yesterday, Boma had tendered an apology to the general public in light of all the backlash his actions on the show received. 

In a post shared via his official Twitter account, the 36-year-old stayed that it takes mistakes for one to learn who they really are. He also stated that he takes full responsibility for his actions on the show. 

‘”You have to make mistakes to find out who you aren’t. You take the action, and the insight follows. You don’t think your way into becoming yourself”. I take full responsibility for my actions and I am sorry. It can only get better from here.” he wrote

In related news, Tega’s hubby, Ajeboh Krislawrence has also spoken on the matter expressing his shock at his wife’s behaviour on the show. 

In the interview with Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut, he revealed that he was broken by his wife’s actions and would only forgive her if she apologized for her deeds. Watch the video below;

Tega on her part earlier today also expressed her heartfelt apology to Nigerians and her husband for her behaviour on the show with Boma.

“We talked and of course we were enjoying the buzz from the housemates, so we kept on doing it. We went on at it. Whatever happened between myself and Boma was pre-discussed,” she said.

“So we had this discussion, it started like a joke and we started enjoying the buzz. So we decided to go on with it.

“Coming out of the show we realised we had pushed the button too far and it exploded. Definitely, I’m going to own up to everything I did and tender sincere apologies to Nigerians and of course my husband.”
