CONFIRMED: Atiku Abubakar wins PDP 2023 Presidential Primaries, Details…
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar emerged victorious in the ongoing PDP 2023 Presidential Primaries.
His victory is coming after the Governor of Sokoto and fellow aspirant, Aminu Tambuwal stepped down and gave his votes to the former vice president.

However, Rivers state governor and rival, Nyesom Wike came second in the keenly contest competition. It can be recalled that 17 persons purchased the party’s nomination and expression of interest forms.
Two were disqualified by the David Mark-led screening committee while Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi opted out of the race and resigned from the party, leaving 14 contenders.

Atiku Abubakar – 371
Nyesom Wike – 237 votes
Bukola Saraki – 70 votes
Anyim Pius – 14 votes

Bala Mohammed – 20 votes
Emmanuel Udom – 38 votes
Sam Ohuabunwa – 1 vote
