Coronavirus – Confirmed Cases in Nigeria Now 40.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed four new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) – three cases in Lagos State and one in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), bringing the total number in the country to 40.
The agency said two of these cases “are returning travellers.”
“As at 11pm on March 23, there are 40 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria. Two have been discharged with one death recorded,” NCDC said.

The breakdown of cases by states shows that Lagos State has the highest figure – 28; followed by FCT with seven cases; Ogun State has two cases; while Ekiti, Oyo and Edo states have one case each respectively.
