Annastasia Kinse, the Catholic reverend sister who was dismissed after making public allegations of sexual assault against fathers in her parish, has broken her silence. In her first public statement since her dismissal, Kinse confirmed her removal from the Congregation of Mother of Perpetual Help of the Archangels Sisters and detailed the circumstances surrounding it.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Kinse described the moment she arrived at the convent to find her belongings packed and waiting for her outside. “I met that my belongings were already packed outside the room I stayed in, and the religious habits were taken away. I pulled the one I had on and submitted it as well. Therefore, I am currently not in possession of any property of the Congregation,” she wrote.

Despite the abrupt nature of her dismissal, which has sparked significant public discussion, Kinse struck a tone of resilience and unwavering faith. She expressed profound gratitude to those who have supported her with prayers and encouragement, describing their love as “priceless.”
