“Enough Is Enough”- Ohanaeze Indigbo Group Gives Buhari’s Government A 14- Day Ultimatum To Provide The Names Of Killer Fulani Herdsmen.
The Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, has issued a 14- day ultimatum to the federal government, following the gruesome death of 16 villagers in Enugu State.
According to reports, some suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded a local community in Enugu State and slain at least 16 innocent villagers while they were sleeping.
The ugly and gruesome incident in Enugu State’ s Uzo- Uwani Local Government Area was also identified as unacceptable by the Igbo party.
Therefore, the OYC group gave President Buhari’ s government a 14- day injunction to provide the names of the killer herdsmen and bring them to face the law, if not, the Ndi Igbo group will be forced to take matters into their own hands.
The ugly assault has drawn widespread criticism, with Ebonyi State Governor Chief David Umahi claiming to know those responsible.
Meanwhile, in a statement, OYC President- General Mazi Okwu Nnabuike pledged that those responsible for the villagers’ gruesome deaths would pay a high price.
The OYC President, Okwu, who said that the blood of Ndigbo had already been spilled on the altar of one Nigeria, urged Ndigbo to begin self- defense preparations.

The statement reads, ” This is one too many attacks; they are senseless, inhuman, grotesque, and designed to test Ndigbo’ s will and ability. “
What happened to the soldiers who went after the ESN at Orlu in Imo State the last time? When it comes to innocent Nigerians, where are the security forces that are still using force?
” This mayhem in Ebonyi and Enugu States has angered the entire Igbo youth community, and it will not be ignored. “

The OYC President, Okwu also called on all Igbo communities to organize a self-defense team that will help repel the attacks of the killer herdsmen, since the federal government has chosen to remain adamant.
He said, ” To that end, the governors must step up to the plate; now is not the time for politics; instead, they should initiate a regional campaign to stop these beasts. “
” We are giving the security forces a two- week deadline to deliver the suspects on behalf of the Federal Government. “
” If they need more details, they can contact Governor Umahi. Our patience is running out, and we must not overextend it, ” the OYC President cautioned.
