Final Year Student, Shot And Set Ablaze For Refusing To Join Cult In Osun State University.
There is serious apprehension currently in the community of Osun State University after a final year student was reportedly shot and set ablaze by some suspected cultists in the state. The victim student is identified as Victor Oke, he is said to be a final year student of the Department of Political Science at the Osun State University.
According to information gathered, Victor Oke has been a target of the suspected cultists in the university for years. He was allegedly asked to join the fraternity group. They have been going back and forth over the issue since he was in part. Victor stood his ground all through and this angered the group who then attacked him on Saturday.

According to the public relations officer of the university who made this known, he said Victor was attacked on Saturday morning by the dreaded cult group. He was not only shot but he was also cut with a machete. This according to some iS the handiwork of the Black Ax Cult group.
After Victor was already down in the pool of his blood, the alleged cult group also set him ablaze. Luckily, help was able to come to him on time before they could burn him to death.
The University’s Public Relations Officer named Ademola Adesoji said in a statement issued on Monday, December 13, that;

“We noticed that Victor was absent for his final paper in the afternoon and decided to contact his parents. It was later discovered that he was attacked by unknown cultists in the early hours of Saturday.
Victor was shouting that he was not joining their cult group while they continued to hit him with cutlasses, hard stones and attempted to burn him, partially succeeding before he was eventually rescued.

The university security unit is currently working with the Police to ensure the culprits are exposed and brought to the book. The cultists must be arrested” he said.
