“I Swear By My Father’s Grave, Nigeria Will Collapse In The Next 6- Month”- Clarke Assures.
” Many things are happening, and I swear by my father’ s grave that if care is not taken, Nigeria will crumble in six months, ” the senior lawyer said on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
While reacting to the Department of State Services’ (DSS) recent warning to go after elements causing disunity in the country, Clark lamented the recent spate of insecurity in Nigeria.

” You see, Nigeria’s problem is that those who should know don’t want to know and don’t know, ” he explained. ” The security meeting keeps going on and on. What do they want to do? Today, the security situation in this country is so bad that I, Robert Clark, am unable to guarantee Nigeria’s continued presence for another six months.
” Since the 1999 constitution was enacted, and this harvest of politicians who were immersed in Abacha’s loot and trying to form as many political groups as necessary for him (Abacha) got into money and into politics, Nigeria would never be the same.
” Nigeria is terrible than it was in 1982. What is the cause? The reason is the leadership we retain. “
The Federal Government’s action of releasing a list of suspected looters, according to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Robert Clarke, would not put an end to looting in Nigeria.
Clarke, who appeared on Channels Television’ s Sunrise Daily Breakfast Show, said the Federal Government needed a corruption- free system to prosecute looters effectively.
” It’ s safer if more people are identified as looters, but that doesn’ t mean looting can end. It will go on indefinitely unless the mechanism is altered.

” No matter how you try corrupt administrators, no matter how you try civil officials, no matter how you try ambassadors, if the policy is corrupt, it is wasted, ” he said.
