If God did it for us, He can do it for you – Tonto Dikeh and Ex-Husband Find Peace After Ten Years.
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared heartfelt news with her fans, revealing a personal milestone that has taken a decade to reach. The actress, known for her candid personality, announced she has reconciled with her ex-husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Churchill.
The pair, who share a son named King-Andre, parted ways years ago after a marriage that played out publicly and ended with noticeable strain. Their separation was followed by years of what Dikeh describes as “public battles, deep wounds, and broken communication.”

This turn towards peace comes as Dikeh has been openly sharing her recent journey as a convert to Christianity. She has spoken about leaving behind habits like drinking and smoking, focusing instead on her faith. According to the actress, it was this spiritual path that made the reconciliation possible, guided by the counsel of her spiritual leader.
To announce the news, Dikeh posted a lengthy, emotional message on her Instagram page. She did not hold back in describing the long road to this point.

“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in,” she wrote. “What looked ugly, impossible, and beyond repair has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos.”

She emphasized that human efforts alone had failed to mend the rift. “What human effort could not fix, God healed by salvation, humility, and the sincere prayers of a child,” she stated, likely referring to their son.

In her note, Dikeh directly thanked Churchill for his role. “I am deeply grateful to the father of my child, Dr. Kunle, for yielding to God’s word and choosing peace,” she said, adding that “obedience to God always births restoration, even when the road has been long and painful.”
The actress also turned her message outward, offering encouragement to her followers who might be in similar situations. “To anyone standing where I once stood, tired, wounded, misunderstood… please hear this: God has not abandoned you. Your story is not over,” she urged. She ended this thought with a clear message of hope: “If God did it for us, He can do it for you.”

Dikeh signed off the note with “KINGTONTO,” a blend of their son’s name and her own, alongside Churchill’s name and their son’s full name, King-Andre Churchill, symbolizing their reunited family.
The post has gathered thousands of likes and comments from fans and fellow celebrities, many expressing surprise, joy, and support for the actress’s new chapter.
