Instead of ignoring the chatter, the siblings decided to post a follow-up video to set the record straight.
In the new clip, the brother and sister explained that they are the only children of their parents and have always shared a unique bond. They revealed that they currently live in different houses, but the sister visits her brother almost every single day. She described herself as the “queen of his home” and even had a message for any future partner of her brother: any woman who wants to marry him must get permission from her first.
The sister also shared that their own mother has warned them to tone down their clingy behavior. But according to her, it is not something they can simply stop. She said it is a deep connection they share as twins.
Speaking in Pidgin, she made a statement that has since become a talking point on its own: “If your brother nor dey touch you, e nor like you.”
In her view, if a brother does not show physical affection to his sister through touch, it means he does not truly care for her. The brother stood by her side in the video, agreeing that his sister runs things in his home. He also made it clear that outside opinions do not matter to them. The two have vowed to continue being close, regardless of what people say.
The video has left social media users divided. Some still feel the level of touch is too much and crosses a line that siblings should not cross. Others, however, have come to their defense, saying that people project their own ideas onto relationships they do not understand. They argue that not every close relationship has a hidden meaning and that twins, in particular, often share a bond that is hard for outsiders to grasp.
