The case between reality TV star Phyna and the Dangote Group has taken a new turn with reports that the company has abandoned her sister, who lost a leg in an accident involving a Dangote truck. Recall that we previously reported on the accident and the subsequent apprehension of the truck driver.
From the beginning, activist Verydarkman (VDM) has been handling the case. However, he recently withdrew his involvement, citing perceived sabotage.

In a video shared on his Instagram, VDM called out Phyna, accusing her of using him to gain the Dangote Group’s attention. He claimed that Phyna initially demanded ₦1 billion in compensation and for her sister to be flown abroad for medical treatment. A meeting with the Dangote Group was allegedly planned before Phyna suddenly became uncontactable.
VDM further alleged that Phyna excluded him from a planned meeting with Dangote representatives, telling him they were afraid of his involvement. He revealed that he sent her a warning on WhatsApp, advising caution to avoid being manipulated, but she ignored his calls and messages.

In a subsequent emotional video, Phyna publicly appealed to Verydarkman, begging him to rejoin the fight for her sister’s justice. She was seen crying and stating that she still needs his help.
“Verydarkman, please, I’m sorry if I offended you. I still need you in this case between Dangote and my sister,” Phyna said in the video.
Phyna clarified that she had attempted to reach out to VDM, but he never picked up her calls. She stressed that if he had issues with her, he should have addressed them privately. According to her, she does not need distractions at this time, as her only focus is seeking justice for her sister.
