She’s currently on the road with her State Of The World Tour.
But that doesn’t mean Janet Jackson takes some down time in between concerts when she has a few days spare.
On Monday, the pop superstar was spotted filming a music video in Brooklyn, New York, after performing in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Saturday and ahead of Thursday’s gig in Sarasota Springs, New York.
Janet, 52, sported an eclectic and colorful mix of clothing as she hit the city streets with a crew of back-up dancers.
She wore a green and yellow turban over her hair that was styled into a high top knot with long braid falling down over one shoulder.
She added a graphic tee and extremely distressed blue jeans tucked into mustard yellow stiletto-heeled ankle boots.
The hitmaker completed the ensemble with a pink plaid half skirt fastened at the waist with an oversized yellow belt with huge silver buckle.
She added some bling with a couple of gold medallions and a bright purple choker.

Her dancers were dressed in blue denim sand sneakers and they put on their moves as they followed her down the street while cameras rolled.
At one point, Janet was snapped in discussion with one of the behind-the-scenes crew about the sequence they were filming.
She also got some hands-on help with her elaborate costume in between takes.

Meanwhile, Janet also took time Monday to pay tribute to late rapper Tupac Shakur as she commemorated the 25th anniversary of the release of their movie Poetic Justice.
She shared some images from the John Singleton film on her Twitter and Instagram.
The 1993 romantic drama topped the box office upon its release in 1993.

Janet resumed her tour following the death of her father Joe Jackson from pancreatic cancer on June 27.
Earlier this month, she performed at the 2018 Essence Festival in New Orleans where she revealed the advice one of her brothers had given her about dealing with her grief and loss.
The brother had told her to imagine what Joe might have said to her and she told her fans at the concert: ‘I think my father would have said, Janet, please. Finish what you’ve started. And I will be there with you every step of the way in your heart. So here I am.’
And then Janet pointed to the sky and said, ‘I love you so much. This one’s for you,’ as her band kicked into her song Together Again.
Throughout the tune, a montage of photos featuring Joe appeared on the screens.
