Killers Of The Kogi State PDP Women Leader – Salome Abuh Have Finally Been Arrested.
The Kogi State Police Command has finally paraded six suspects allegedly behind the killing of PDP Women Leader, Mrs. Salome Abuh after much public search for justice.
On November 18th, Mrs. Abuh was burnt alive in her house at Ochadamu Kogi State shortly after the announcement of the results of the governorship election which took place in Kogi state.

The election was a very strange one, that saw the women leader of the people’s democratic party murdered in cold blood.
Arresting the suspects, the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Busari said Edicha aged 30 confessed that he personally led the gang that burnt down the house of Elder Simon Abuh which led to the death of his wife, Mrs. Salome Abuh.
The suspects further confessed that they were the notorious arm robbers responsible for the series of armed robbery incidents in the state. He further told the police that he never knew the woman leader was inside the house while they set it ablaze.

The police commissioner while calling for calm, assured that all perpetrators of the act will not go unpunished as efforts are still ongoing to get other members of the gang.
During interrogation by the police the gang leader, Ocholi Edicha said they had serious issues with the woman already before the election day. While admitting that he is a staunch supporter of the ruling party, the prime suspect, however, distanced himself from the killing of the PDP women leader.
Meanwhile, the five other suspects paraded by the command exonerated themselves from the killing. According to them, they were petty thieves who are known for robbing the neighborhood of their belongings not involved in the killing of the woman.

The woman case was a severe one because many people were involved and the woman’s husband is very persistent in finding justice for his late wife.
The woman’s husband while speaking to the police said he always warns the wife of her involvement in politics now it had lead to her death.
He urged the police to give him justice so that his wife’s soul will rest in peace wherever she is now.
