Miss Health – Veronica Ubom Solicits Support For Women in Nigeria
Miss Veronica Ubom, the current Miss health beauty ambassador, Wednesday, solicited access to free health care for girls and women.
Ubom told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that free health care and accessories for women and girls would go a long way to better their lives.

“I want to see a system that will provide accessible, affordable, and reliable health care services for women.
I will use this platform to empower persons with disabilities, I will speak for the person with disabilities
“Pregnant women should not be made to pay for childbirth because life-giving is part of our humanity.
“As a youth ambassador, my vision is to empower girls and youths, in general, to live a healthy lifestyle and develop entrepreneurship skills,’’ she said.
Ubom said that her passion was to offer humanitarian services and educate young people on acquiring entrepreneurship skills.

“I intend to reach out to young girls who have no means of getting sanitary materials and I am already giving out free sanitary towels monthly to girls who cannot afford them.
“I plan to carry out a campaign in the Nigerian embassy in Ukraine during summer to sensitize girls and Nigerian youths living in Europe, equipped them with better knowledge on entrepreneurship.
NAN reports that Ubom was nominated Miss health beauty ambassador in December 2021.
