MORE HARDSHIP IN NIGERIA!!! Man Stabs Himself, Tries To Cut His Own Throat In Suicide Attempt At Delta Market.

There was drama at a market in Sapele, Delta State after a man tried to commit suicide in a rather disturbing fashion. The suicide attempt of the man, whose identity is not yet ascertained, was witnessed by dozens of marketers.

In a video that is currently trending online, the man, wearing a shirt and jeans trousers, is seen first stabbing his stomach, before then trying to cut open his own throat in the middle of the market.

The marketers witness the scene with palpable fear and tension, and the recorder of the video can be heard questioning why the man is attempting to kill himself.

But the better question here would be: why didn’t anyone, out of all the marketers and other individuals who witnessed the suicide attempt, try to stop him? Why were the police not invited to the scene?

Why did they all just stand there and watch him do what he did to himself? What if he dropped down, bleeding to death at the scene; is that how they would all abandon him? Why did they not attempt to help him?

@King Slayer: The hardship in the country has made Nigerians heartless. Just listen to what the stupid person making this video is saying, he’s even laughing at some point. GOD help this country.

God almighty please come and rescue this country, this also could be a result of hardships and depression.

@Anonymous: This is one about some Nigerians. At least some could have called the police to come to rescue him but they are looking and filming.

If it is to call the police and EFCC to check their neighbour who is making it, they will know how to do that. May God help us!

Whatever the cause of this doesn’ t matter at the moment, the fact is that there is a mental health issue going on with him but watching him killing himself without anyone trying to help or call for help is heartbreaking. Zoo nation indeed.

We need a serious reorientation for our people and how we treat mental health issues. We are too quick to judge. Yet we offer no help. We will rather watch him die as we film with glee. SAD.
