There is confusion and commotion in a Zimbabwean village as a 13- year- old boy died six days after he reportedly killed a black cat that belonged to one woman in the village whom everyone referred to as a witch.
According to the report surrounding the news, it was established that the alleged witch in the village admitted to using juju to kill the boy after accusing him of killing her black cat in their village.

The village head, Siyaso Peter Ndhlovu, confirmed the incident and told the news crew that visited him that the suspected ‘ notorious’ witch would appear at his village court to answer for the allegations of killing the 13- year- old boy identified as Zacharia Mlambo, using juju.
The deceased’ s mother, who is identified as Tambudzai Mlamb, granted an interview where she narrated why her son killed the black cat. She said that her son killed the cat because it was always in their house eating family food.
It was reported that the cat had eaten some fish, and Zachariah spotted it the next day in a bucket of food in their house, and he then killed the black cat.

The alleged witch immediately went to the boy’ s house when she specifically told him in clear terms that he will die for killing his black cat.

” My son started complaining of a headache and his head started swelling…. We went to the suspected witch and apologized. We even offered to pay her US$10 but she refused it insisting that all she wanted was her black cat back. My son died a painful death six days later, ” said Tambudzai, the mother of the deceased boy.
When some press personnel visited the village all the villagers declined to accompany them to the alleged witch’s house for fear of being hunted by the woman.
