A man who lost his legs as a child during a bomb explosion has shared an inspiring story of his relationship with his wife. As a result of the injuries sustained from the explosion, doctors worked on his legs and gave him prosthetics in order for him to be able to walk again. He had a miserable childhood however, things improved when he finally met the love of his life.

Gradually, life continued to test him. He had almost lost all hope when a miracle happened that completely changed his life. He met his life partner Deborah.

Ndayisenga and Deborah have been married for quite a long time. Ndayisenga claims that while he dated his wife in preparation for marriage, he never informed her that he had no legs.

There are people in his community who discriminate against him for his disability, and he claims they have ridiculed him that no woman will accept him as a husband. While he was competing in a singing competition, he met his wife and they formed a bond that became very strong which led to their marriage.

He couldn’t tell the girl of his dreams that he has no legs out of fear of rejection because he had been rejected many times. His wife was shocked when she discovered that her husband had no legs, however, he was still her husband and she still loved him.

Deborah says he’s the best, and she’ll always stand by him. Ndayisenga was shocked when she refused to divorce him. That is the nicest thing anyone had ever done for him.

In their interview with Afrimax, the couple shared how people tried to convince them to leave each other. Debora was pressurized by her friends to end her marriage, while Ndayisenga was told his wife would abandon him within seven days after their wedding.

While many women in her place would have left their husbands after discovering such a secret, Debora chose to stay by him as his life companion.
