Nigerian Is Totally Finished – Reactions As Wanted Notorious Bandit Bags Chieftaincy Title In Zamfara Emirate.
Many reactions trail the chieftaincy title given to a notorious and wanted bandit leader in Zamfara state by one of the emirates who had hitherto suffered many attacks from the same man.
According to the report credited to The Nigerian Tribune, the community said the chieftaincy title conferred on the wanted bandit’s leader is a reward for allowing peace to finally reign in the emirate after a long battle with the bandits in the area.

Before the bandit’s leader, identified as Adamu Alieru, chose to embrace peace with the community, he had reportedly killed hundreds of people and destroyed properties worth billions. He also reported having rustled hundreds of cows.
There was a particular day he led his men to one of the communities under Tsafe local government where he killed over 50 people at a go. He also killed the son of one of the commissioners in the state. In another incident, he went on a rampage after he was informed that the security agencies in the state have arrested his son.

His ransom according to a source is also in millions of naira, else he will kill you.
All these are what made the Emir of Yandoto in Zamfara State, where Adamu Aleiru always attacked, Alhaji Garba Marafa, conferred the traditional title of Sarki Fulani Yandoto to him.

“Adamu Aleiru was in the forefront of the recent peace efforts in the two emirates of Yandoto and Tsafe. At the end of the meeting, he (Aleru) agreed to stop attacking the communities and villages in the emirate. He has also agreed to allow people to farm, ” said the source.
