As the controversies surrounding Hanks Anuku’s mental health looms, Nollywood actress, Adanma Luke has come out plain to say that Hanks is “not ok”, and that he needs urgent help “before it’s too late”.
The actress made this known in the wake of a viral video wherein Hanks was seen looking unkempt and haggard as he walks the streets of Benin, Edo state.

In the video footage that was recorded by a concerned fan, Hanks is seen dressed in old clothes and talking to himself while walking the street.
Following the virality of the video, veteran actress, Shan George took to social media wherein she debunked rumours that Anuku was suffering from mental health issues.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared photos she claimed were recent, as she sought to allay fears over the actor’s wellbeing.
“Nothing dey do Hanks o. We dey same set. This pix is three days ago,” she wrote alongside one such photo.
However, Adanma Luke has countered George’s claims describing them as “lies”.
According to the actress, Hanks Anuku needs help, but Nollywood is attempting a “cover-up”.
“Pls you all Nollywood peeps should stop with the lies when you know the truth. He isn’t okay so let him get help now that the world knows.” she shared via her IG Stories.
“Stop with the cover-up. If he was your blood you would have helped but now that the world is about to find out the truth you all try to hide it. Hank isn’t okay so let’s allow him get help now before it’s too late”.
