Remember The Husband and Wife That Were Killed In Front Of Their Children? See Their Killers.

The death of this couple was so sad because they murdered in cold blood in front of thier children.

The Abia state police Force in Umuahia, the Abia State capital paraded about twenty persons; 18 males and two females, arrested in Umuahia and Aba, the commercial nerve of the state for various criminal offenses including armed robbery and kidnapping.

The most popular among the suspects was a four-man gang of kidnappers and armed robbers who killed a husband and his wife at World Bank Housing Estate in front of their children that was so barbaric and go so many reactions from social media users.

Reports gathered that the couples from Ebonyi state were identified as Mr. and Mrs. Darlington Uzonwa.

It was said they were killed by the hoodlums after they suspected that the couples knew one of them and might expose them.

It was also gathered that the children of the deceased made an attempt to beg the arm robbers not to shoot their mum after they have already shot at their dad’s head, but the robbers went deaf ears.

The Commissioner of Police in the State, Ene Okon while addressing journalists at the Police Command Headquarters during a press briefing in his office stated that he led the State police anti-robbery squad that went after the hoodlums when they were alerted of the incident.

According to Okon the police commissioner, the police had already arrested the suspected hoodlums two hours after they committed the crime but however decided to keep it away from the public because they were pursuing other members of the gang that was at large.

He disclosed that the group who were from Umuahia are some members of a dreaded robbery gang whose leader identified as ” Grave” was killed late last year by the Police after a failed robbery operation in the state capital.

He however sympathizes with the family members of the murdered couples and asks God to give them the power to bear the loss.

The children of the late couple could’ t hide their feeling but cried out for justice to be given to the killers of their parents. The state police commissioner assured the kids that the killers of their parents after being caught will also be killed.
