The Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo- Agege, has shown support for the agitations of some Igbo groups clamouring for self governance.
Omo- Agege explained that the country has been unfair to them, adding that the South- East region is politically deprived in the number of seats allocated to it when compared to other regions.

@tejiriamadim: What Omo- Agege has echoed here is what I have repeatedly echoed. You cannot lump people recklessly, with impunuty and utter disregard into your Biafran map without civil and democratic consultations. This may perhaps be Biafra’ s major undoing. Biafra is the five S/Eastern states.
@afric: The natural resources which is the source and reason for their proposes economic isolation is control by the western world for their own enrichment while Africa suffers since they control the price and currency of transaction, economic isolation will cause poverty.

@okechukwu: Thanks for speaking up, but half truth is equal to no truth. We need to exit Nigeria, other tribes even within Biafra who so wishes Nigeria can continue, for clarity any group included in Biafran map does not mean forcing them into Biafra, referendum will determine inclusion.
@voiceof: They have reduced biafra to igbo agitation, but then nothing spoil let the igbos go, the igbos carved into other states as well should join their brothers when they leave because they are a nation and should be accorded that respect.
