See How These Two Men Specializes In Stealing Spare Parts From Cars.
It was the end of the road for these criminals who specializes in stealing vehicle brain box from cars all over the city of Lagos.
The two thieves, who deal with dismantling people’s vehicles and stealing their brain boxes, were arrested by the operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad(RRS), a unit of the Lagos State Police Anti Robbery Squad.
The suspects by the name Musa Sodiq, aged 28, and Atiku Saidu, aged 34, were arrested at No. Idumota road, Ikeja, with three Seina vehicle brain boxes, while the last member of the gang by name, Adamu Ridwan, escaped with the fourth brain box that they stole.

One of the suspect by the name Sodiq confessed to the crime saying he is a graduate of Political science department that came into Lagos in search of a job, but he could not find any job, so his friend decided to introduce him to stealing and they started by breaking into people’s cars to steal their battery, but later upgraded to brain box stealing because the was no much money in stealing of car batteries.
The Men confessed they have stolen so many car brain boxes and they have made so much money from the dreaded trade.

According to the men they use special techniques In stealing the car brain box within four minutes.
According to the criminals they use ‘ magic stone’ that is, a vehicle spark plug to break car windows without bringing any attention. They confess it takes just two minutes to lose any car brain box and it takes four minutes to lose a bus or jeep brain box.
The spark plug according to them reduces the noise and effects and it helps in quickly breaking any vehicle window.
Making a further confessional statement to the police, Sodiq said that Saidu was a security worker who works for a company situated on that street where they were arrested, and had earlier in the day called Ridwan, the gang leader, to come rob on some vehicles belonging to their company.

The police boss who paraded the suspect said they have been hearing serious reports about these notorious criminals who have been robbing cars, the most shocking thing was how they use just 4 minutes in removing a whole-brain box from a car.
The police public relations officer said he will charge them to court once investigations are concluded.
