See Photos Of All The Arrested Bandits Revealed By Abba Kyari, See Their Faces and weapons.
DCP Abba Kyari took to his Facebook page to unveil photos of the bandits and their weapons arrested by the police, to prove that the Nigerian police are working day and night to rid the country of the bandits who terrorize the peace of the Nigerian people.
He said police had arrested criminals from all parts of the country and that no tribe or religion was exempt. See his statement below.
Abba Kyari shared photos of these bandits they arrested to prove his claim and debunked rumors circulating in several neighborhoods that the bandits would be handed over to society without prosecution. See the images below.
Among the bandits he exposed are those who have sophisticated weapons and military uniforms to disguise as military personnel when they carry out their evil attacks on civilians.
Recall that these bandits caused a lot of Nigerians, they killed people and destroyed properties, they extorted money from Nigerians in the name of ransom after kidnapping their victims.
Prior to this year, the bandits did not engage in the kidnapping of schoolchildren until they started with students at the Kankara Government Secondary School of Science in Katsina State, where they attended. kidnapped about 300 students for about a week before being released.
Kidnappings of schoolchildren then became unrelenting as bandits kidnapped around 27 students from Government Science College in Kagara in Niger state for about a week before also being released on demand.
Just recently, bandits also kidnapped around 300 students from the government secondary school for girls in Jangebe, Zamfara state, for around 5 days before being released on demand.
One of the repentant Zamfara state bandits in a viral video which was made in the Hausa language swore by god’s name that the government-sponsored them, he said those who sponsored them had given them the AK- 47 which they used for their operations.
Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle’ s Deputy Chief of Staff Dr Bashir Muhammad Maru, speaking to reporters at a press conference, also said that a military officer and his girlfriend were arrested for having provided bandits with military uniforms that they used in their operations.
Also recently, the former aviation minister, Chief Femi Fani Kayode, also threatened to expose the perpetrators of banditry in Nigeria and alleged that he was sponsored by a special adviser to the current government.
One of the measures the government is taking to tackle banditry in Nigeria is the declaration of a no-fly zone in Zamfara State, but it must do more to stem this threat before it gets out of hand and turns into a full-fledged business for criminals.
