See the Secondary School Boys Arrested With Local Guns In School After Attacking Their Teachers.
Four secondary school boys in government secondary school Atekim in Calabar suspected to have involved in the robbery and other crime-related cases were arrested by the cross river state police anti-robbery squad.
The students were arrested with their uniforms on the school premises after police operatives were alerted about their criminal and disturbing trends they were engaged in which could have caused a serious threat to the school and then the entire school security.
Speaking during the handover on Friday, the Special Adviser to Cross River State Governor on Education, Comrade Castro Ezama thanked the police agents for the timely intervention when contacted about the situation of the school children.
He told journalists that the secondary school students were cultists of different Cult confraternity who have been disturbing the peace of the school for a very long time.

He added that they have been waiting for the time to alert the police on them.
Speaking at the school compound where the students were apprehended, the police public relations officer who was at the scene saw the four students with the guns that were recovered from them tag them as armed robbers who go around robbing people after they have left school.
He added that the high level of cultism that has circulated all over cross river state is what’ s making school children corrupt.
The arrested student were taken to the police headquarters for interrogations and questioning.
After series of interrogations they confessed and accepted the crime the told the police the belonged to different Cult group that has been terrorising the state.
They told the police they got the guns from their Cult group leaders who taught them how to be Robbing people at night.
Before these students were arrested they had destroyed so many things in this school premises and so many things were also stolen according to reports.
