The violence came as a shock to many as Annie and 2Baba who tied the knot back in 2012 have always presented a united front to the general public. So what happened?

Annie Calls 2Baba out For ‘Spending Nights with Baby Mama’

On Thursday night, September 2, 2021, Annie went on the offensive calling out 2baba in a series of posts on social media.

In the rant-filled posts shared via her Instagram Stories, she accused her husband of spending nights with his second baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.

According to her, the singer’s family have never truly accepted her despite all the sacrifices she has made.

“I’m a patient woman, not a fool innocent! Your family never loved me from the beginning, no matter how hard I tried. I was never worthy of them. I have made so many sacrifices for you and all your children,” Annie wrote.

She further accused the singer’s baby mamas of taking advantage of certain situations to carry out “all sorts of rubbish”.

Pero & 2Baba’s Sons

According to Annie, the singer always spends nights with Pero anytime he travels to check up on their kids.

“God knows I have tried. Your baby mamas constantly use your children as an excuse for all sorts of rubbish. I try to stay gracious. You’re not the first man to have kids with different women. You can do better.

“Everything I do is to show the good human that you are. But today, this move by you, Efe, Frankie, and your family is unacceptable.

“What kind of man takes his kids to Disney and spends nights in the same apartment with his kids and their mother! How many times have you gone to see your kids with Pero under the roof? I can go on and on!”

She has since deleted the posts, but the damage was done.

CHARLES IDIBIA: 2Baba’s Brother Takes up the Fight

Responding to the shots fired by Annie, 2Baba’s youngest sibling, Charles Idibia dragged his sister-in-law for filth in a set of heavy ripostes posted on Instagram.

“You got married into a family of peace lovers …so peaceful that it’s actually an Idibia family flaw as I have come to realise. Perhaps this has made you think that we must be fools, but trust me, we are not,” he wrote countering her claims that the Idibia family never liked her.

He also accused the actress of colluding with her mother and using Juju.

“Is your threat tool and means of gaining control? …and I thought you were smart, abi dey dealer gave you the wrong dose today? Asking your mum who lives in one of the bedrooms to add more fire to the Juju pot is would have been a smarter move, but as God will have it, you choose today to expose yourself.”

According to Charles, 2Baba is dying a slow death as his marriage has never been a peaceful one from the get-go.

“You better finish what you started this Night, because maybe, just maybe the public might just help us all. Inno is dying slowly, never seen a man so unhappy in real life, but we must all maintain ‘peace’ that has never existed from day one …f*ck that sh*t! Am done,” he added.

“The Idibia family never gave you peace you say, please bring out all the wrong we did to you and post on your page pls, because I have a lot to say, and am going to say it regardless.”

Annie would almost immediately respond to Charles claims to accuse him and his family of trying to suck 2baba dry. She also knocked Charles accusing him of being lazy simply because he has a successful brother.

According to her, all she is trying to do is protect her husband from those looking to harm him.

Annie Idibia Disowned By Elder Brother

In what came as quite an unexpected occurrence, Annie was then disowned by her elder brother who claimed that he wanted nothing to do with her anymore.

In a video making the rounds in social media, Annie’s supposed elder brother states that henceforth, he ceases to be associated with Annie.

He asked that no one should reach out to him regarding any issues involving the actress.

Annie Removes “Idibia” Surname on Instagram

Not long after, the mother of two effected changes to her Instagram account removing the name Idibia, and reverting to her maiden name.

The legendary singer has maintained his silence thus far as is his norm when controversies arise.

Who is 2Baba’s Second Baby Mama?

Before finally settling down with Annie, 2baba’s had an on-off relationship that spanned seven years with her second baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.

Their relationship produced three children; Ehi who is the singer’s first daughter was born in 2006, Innocent, named after 2Face Idibia was born in 2012, and the last child, Justin was born in 2013.

On her part, Pero also is yet to make any statements as regards Annie’s statements.

It has been alleged that Annie Idibia and Pero Adeniyi were best of friends before a couple of disagreements drove a wedge between them.

The pair, however, reconciled back in 2018. In a video that immediately went viral, 2Face was seen in tears as Annie and Pero embraced each other in a tight hug after almost two years of feuding.
