A prominent music legend in Nigeria, 2Baba Idibia has blasted Apostle Johnson Suleman over his statement where he said he makes money through speaking in tongues during a sermon.
A viral video of Suleman making rounds on social media captures the moment he said that he prayed that the Covid-19 would not end, stirred up hate from Nigerians.
Though we know he made that statement for illustration purpose, but this times are hard and so many Nigerians are in pain from the harsh economic challenges.
Many of them are very sensitive and any slight provocative statement can cause serious online unrest.
In the video, he was caught laughing off the notion that he acquired a money-making machine through speaking in tongues.

The Amaka crooner (2face) took to his Instagram page where he furiously insulted the pastor over his comments during the now controversial sermon that has brought about an uproar.
He said that the Pastor told his congregation that they accuse him of having a machine that prints money whereas it’s his speaking tongues that gave him the machine that prints money and the congregation clapped. Unknown to them is the fact that they are the actual money-making machine.

He also said no one should come at him with religious arrogance as everyone would find their road to heaven. The musician seemed really angry with the apostle as he rained insults on him.
The apostle said in his sermon that In COVID pandemic, he bought an expensive jet which is the third one he now has.
He also said that he was praying for the COVID- 19 not to end because he was resting. He also said while people were complaining, his wife enjoyed getting merry with him.
He also disclosed that he read on the Internet that there’s a rumour going around that he has a machine that prints money, saying that he likes the rumour.
He also said in his sermon that when you speak in tongues, you have a machine that prints money for you.
Apostle Suleman has been dragged severally and the last was by a celebrity in 2020 when actress Etinosa Idemudia accused him of having an extramarital affair.
