When a tragedy has happened, people start speculating in such a way that you can end up not knowing the real truth; some even fabricate stories that are fake. Ever since AKA passed away, many people have been saying so many contradictory things. At first, there were reports that said he was shot more than five times, but according to the trending video, he was only shot once, and then the suspect ran away. That video is proof that people always exaggerate and lie about things.

Following his death, people have been talking. One of the famous Mzansi podcast hosts known as Slik Talk says that AKA was warned that he should never come to Durban again. He said ever since Anele passed away, Durban people have been holding a grudge against AKA because they believe that he knows something about her death. With that, they banned him from ever coming to Durban again, but unfortunately, he didn’t listen; he went on to visit Durban and even posted his location.

All over social media, people are convinced that Anele’s family knows something about AKA’s death, and they are calling for the police to investigate them. In my opinion, look up who Anele’s family is, and you’ll see that they are very dangerous people. Sbu Shabalala, the former head of Adapt IT, is her uncle. Two years ago, he hired heavily armed men to beat up his wife and her then-boyfriend after she cheated on him. The family is notorious in KZN, and with all that, I believe that they know something; they wouldn’t just let their daughter’s death go without a revenge.
One thing about modern society is that we abuse the freedom of speech that we have. People are saying whatever they want to say on social media without minding how or what the next person will feel. I think it would be best to give the two families some space so that they can heal from this tragedy. May the good Lord give the two families the strength to cope during this difficult time.
